Reducing greenhouse gases

Since the first meeting of the “Club of Rome” in 1968, elites have begun to discuss the ecological limits of our economic model. Since then, the situation has only gotten worse and every decade, experts have been sounding the alarm about the state of the world. One of the major challenges of ecology is our ability to limit our greenhouse gas emissions, which are responsible for global warming.

We work with companies from 3 interconnected sectors that contribute to limit emissions of gases that are harmful to the environment: energy, green mobility and eco-housing.

Energy

Whether they are companies that use the sun, wind or water to produce energy, these companies all share the same philosophy: to produce cleaner and more renewable energy. Solar panels, wind, geothermal energy, biofuel, hydrogen and hydroelectricity are just a few examples of technologies developed by these companies.

Mobility

Green mobility is the second major axis of greenhouse gas reduction.

Indeed, the clean energy produced can then be used to power our vehicles, planes or boats. Rail (trains, trams, metros), road (cars, 2-wheelers, trucks), air (planes, drones, airships) and sea are the different means of transportation used by humans and goods to travel from point A to point B.

However, this sector is undergoing a revolution. Indeed, the better capacities to produce and store clean energy now make it possible to reduce our dependance to oil.

Eco-housing

Consuming less energy than we produce thanks to finely designed hi-tech constructions is now a reality. Autonomous homes producing the energy their inhabitants need and selling the surplus energy produced on the market thanks to “smart grid” technology is no longer science fiction but simply science.

Well-being

The second pillar of the transition on which tranZiteK has positioned itself is the one of well-being in the broad sense. Indeed, foodtech, green chemistry and healthtech are the reactors allowing the improvement of health conditions.

Foodtech

In the “supply chain”, medicines can be used to cure but if you had to choose, the best situation would be not to get sick! Foodtech (including green biotech) will make it possible to drastically improve, while respecting the environment, the quality of food ingested by humans and animals. New technologies will also make it possible to increase yields without using chemicals that are harmful to living organisms, whether of animal or plant origin.

Green chemistry

As well, the future lies in a better cohabitation between humans and nature. White, yellow and blue biotechs make it possible to develop innovative technologies that combine yield and ecological responsibility. Many corporations in traditional chemistry have already started a shift in this direction several decades ago and many startups and scale-ups are now developing disruptive technologies in this area.

Healthtech

Red biotech (those of medical applications) as well as medtech are at the heart of the transition that human beings have been experiencing for several decades. Indeed, our customers are developing cutting-edge technologies in medicine or medical devices allowing patients to live longer and in better health.

Reducing and better recycling waste

The last axis of the ecological transition on which tranZiteK is positioned concerns technologies that allow, firstly, the reduction of waste, then, secondly, better recycling of it.

The recycling of certain polymers, the ability to reduce water consumption and recycle wastewater more efficiently or the massive use of biodegradable materials, cleantech in the broad sense, are just a few examples that allow reducing the quantity of waste produced and not or poorly recycled.

The main objective of companies in the sector is indeed to allow human beings to live more in harmony with nature and not to abuse the natural resources that our planet offers us.
